DTH 4129 T'ai Chi
This beginners course teaches the basic sequence of moves of T'ai Chi, somethimes called "meditation in motion". T'ai Chi is a Chinese based system for health, stress reduction, and non-agressive self defense. The practice of T'ai Chi teaches relaxation while in motion, thereby bringing more consiciousness, grace and creativity to daily life. Once learned, students can practice and perform the moves on their own. Includes recommended readings and written responses.
