MATH 0372 Developmental Mathematics Non-Algebra Intensive BASE NCBO
The BASE NCBO supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in mathematics, including communication and appropriate use of technology. Topics include the study of numeracy and the real number system; algebraic concepts, notation, and reasoning; quantitative relationships; mathematical models; and problem solving.
This is a basic academic skills education (BASE) non-course competency based option (NCBO), that is paired as a corequisite with Developmental Mathematics Non-Algebra Intensive-MATH 0345. Students on the Non-Algebra Intensive Pathway concurrently enroll in both classes. The BASE NCBO provides just-in-time remediation for the Developmental Mathematics course. This class is for students that scored at BASE levels 3-4 on the TSIA. Paired classes are designated with sections such as MP, SP, and EP.
