Regulations for Recreational Facilities
In order to use the Maravillo Gym, LEAC Fitness Center, or Sports Complex at Fort McIntosh, or the Sports Complex or JCT Fitness Center at South Campus, students and employees must present a valid LC ID. Laredo College is NOT responsible for injuries, accidents, or lost/stolen items.
Priorities for use are:
i) Kinesiology classes
ii) Intercollegiate Athletics
iii) Campus Recreation Activities
iv) Students/Employees.
All participants are required to wear appropriate clothing and adhere to the rules of each facility.
Spouse/dependents of college employees are allowed to use the facilities when not in use by instructional classes or organized Campus Recreation Activities, but must present proper ID. Dependents younger than 18 years must be accompanied by their sponsoring LC employee at all times.
In addition:
a) No alcohol, drugs, or tobacco allowed.
b) No glass containers permitted.
c) No gum, candy, food, or drinks allowed (with the exception of bottled water).
Any exceptions require the approval of the chair/director/coach of the fitness facility.
