ME 478 Control Systems and Mechatronics

Classical feedback control theory is ap- plied to dynamic systems. The effect of closed-loop control on the transient re- sponse, error, stability, and frequency response of systems is investigated. Control systems are designed using computer simulation. Boolean logic and its implementation in ladder logic are applied to the control of mechanical systems. Modern control theory and digital control theory are introduced.
