Student Assistance Coordinator, Certification Program
Program Description
The Student Assistance Coordinator certification program has been approved by the NJ Department of Education as a 21-27 credit program leading to New Jersey State Certification as a Student Assistance Coordinator in a public school. Holders of school psychologist, school social worker, school counselor, director of school counseling services or school nurse are exempt from the practicum requirement. Applicants from other universities should meet with an advisor to match their coursework to determine the number of credits required and whether their qualifications, such other certifications, are eligible for this certification.
