NURS 3002 FUNDAMENTALS OF PHARMACOLOGY AND NUTRITION
This course provides an introduction to pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and major pharmacological classifications and the influence of nutrition on drug therapy outcomes. The course integrates genetics, culture, nutrition with pharmacotherapy as applied to patient centered care across the lifespan. Students develop essential skills in pharmacology math, ensuring accurate dosage calculations and safe medication administration. The nursing process is used as an evidence-based, scientific method for clinical decision-making in the pharmacologic and nutritional care of patients across the lifespan.

Admission to the BSN Major; NURS*3000 and NURS*3020
