STME 5971 GENETIC COUNSELING THESIS I
Following the 2-course sequence of Research Methods in Genetic Counseling, students undertake a 3-course series to conduct original research culminating in the manuscript for and oral presentation of the Master of Science thesis. Following submission of the Institutional Review Board (IRB) application, work on the manuscript continues. Manuscript sections drafted to include the literature review, introduction, and materials and methods. Work is discussed with and reviewed by the thesis committee regularly. Upon IRB approval, actual study is initiated.
