SPAN 5120 INTRODUCTION TO SOCIOLINGUISTICS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASSROOMS

Introduction to Sociolinguistics and Ethnolinguistics, with an emphasis on Hispanics in the United States of America. The course explores such issues as social dialects, identity and culture, Spanish and the media, and life in two languages in the 21st century.
