CHEM 1000 PRINCIPLES OF CHEMISTRY
A one-semester terminal course in the structure of matter, the law that describe its transformations, and the theories that attempt to explain them. Involves symbols, formulas, equations, and computations in the study of chemical change, acids, bases, salts, solutions, and organic compounds. This course may not be submitted as a prerequisite for advanced chemistry courses or to meet the chemistry requirements of a liberal arts science major. (3 hr. lec/2 hr. lab.)
