PSYD 7600 SEMINAR IN SOCIAL PSYCHOLOGY
IN-DEPTH CONSIDERATION OF SELECTED MAJOR THEORIES AND FINDINGS OF SOCIAL BEHAVIOR AS THEY RELATE TO THE SCHOOL SETTING. TOPICS INCLUDE: AGGRESSION, SOCIAL PERCEPTION AND COGNITION, ATTITUDES, NON-VERBAL COMMUNICATION, PREJUDICE, SOCIAL INFLUENCE AND CONFORMITY, PROSOCIAL BEHAVIOR, GROUP DYNAMICS, INTERPERSONAL ATTRACTION AND INTIMATE RELATIONSHIPS.
