PSYD 7310 SEMINAR IN PLAN EVAL APPLIED RESEARCH

THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF PLANNING AND EVALUATIONS STUDIES OF HUMAN SERVICE INITIATIVES IS EXPLORED. RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN RESEARCH DESIGN, MEASUREMENT (QUANTITATIVE AND QUALITATIVE) AND EVALUATION THEORY AND PRACTICE IS DELINEATED. APPROACHES TO PLANNING AND EVALUATION, INCLUDING DISCREPANCY, TRANSACTIONAL, DECISION, GOAL BASED AND LOGIC EVALUATION AND PLANNING MODELS ARE DESCRIBED. STUDENTS WILL DEVELOP, CONDUCT AND REPORT AN ACTUAL EVALUATION PROJECT AND PLANNING DOCUMENT.
