HUM 207 Old Testament/Hebrew Bible

(Contact Hours: 3) The origin and development of the Hebrew religion and Judaism as reflected in the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible are studied in this course. Historical, archaeological, and sociological background is emphasized, along with pivotal personalities, central religious concepts, and ethical practices of the Hebrews. Minimum benchmarks will be enforced.
