To request records maintained by John Jay College pursuant to New York State's Freedom of Information Law, email the request to LegalCounsel@jjay.cuny.edu with "FOIL Request" and the requestor's name in the subject line. Please describe the records being requested in as much detail as possible.
Members of the public, including students, have the right to appeal a denial of a request for access to records to the CUNY General Counsel and Vice Chancellor for Legal Affairs. Further details about CUNY's FOIL process and appeals are available on CUNY's FOIL webpage: https://www.cuny.edu/foil/
