CUNY EDGE
The CUNY EDGE program, housed in the Career Center, is also students’ official liaison to the New York City Human Resources Administration. The CUNY EDGE program supports students receiving public benefits in successfully navigating their welfare cases while receiving support services to ensure successful completion of their college journey. Students who receive certain public benefits should make an appointment with their CUNY EDGE advisor.
By using the John Jay Careers Online, the center’s virtual portal, students can view and apply for internships, full and part-time jobs, and volunteer opportunities geared directly to John Jay College students and alumni, request a counseling appointment, and register for events. All students are given an account during their first semester.
