MCO 204 Body Systems & Coding 4
Review of the information presented in MCO 195A, MCO 195B, MCO 201A, MCO 201B, MCO 202A, MCO 202B, MCO 203A, and MCO 203B. Medical Coding of unidentified patient charts and operative reports using CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and coding guidelines will be assigned for practice to increase students’ speed and accuracy. An internship opportunity is provided to obtain experience. Practice tests that simulate the certification exam will be given to help the students prepare for a certification exam. (The national exams are administered by outside certification groups.)
