Employment Options
International students are eligible to work on-campus at the beginning of their first semester. Students cannot work off campus unless they are eligible to do Curricular Practical Training (CPT). Students cannot apply for CPT until they have been at the college for at least one academic year and completed 50% of the program core requirements or completed the certificate program. Failure to obtain CPT authorization before beginning
employment will result in the termination of the I-20. Students may not work more than 20 hours a week while school is in session. During annual vacation and semester breaks, students may work more than 20 hours.
