Effective sport management requires a sound understanding of financial principles. This course teaches students effective management of money by critically examining various financial and economic issues within the global sport industry. Through an exploration of topics like facility financing, economic impact analysis, sport team valuation, and competitive balance, students learn the theories, concepts, and skills necessary to become ethical and effective financial decision-makers.
