OLE 2000 EXPERIENTAI L FACILITATION SKILLS

This course will provide knowledge and practice in experiential facilitation skills and improve your understanding of facilitation theory and models, your practical skills as a facilitator, and your effectiveness as a facilitative participant in groups and teams. Students will examine facilitation and leadership in an interdisciplinary context and learn skills relevant to their specific field. Students will examine various leadership and facilitation styles and reflect on their personal facilitation skills through a series of feedback cycles. Students will study the experiential education model, teamwork competencies, and leadership skills. This course is a requirement for OLE students in the Experiential Training and Consulting track and is an elective for all other OLE tracks. This course is open to all students, regardless of major.
