GEO 3600 GEOGRAPHY OF NORTH AMERICA

This upper-level survey course examines the major physical, biological, cultural, political and economic patterns across Canada and the United States as a basis for exploring the interrelated connections between the natural world and its human inhabitants. Through readings, multi-media exercises, case studies and individual research, students will receive an overview of both physical and human geography as well as experience in geographic reasoning and map analysis.
