Music Minor
A minor in Music requires 20 semester hours. Students lacking functional knowledge of the keyboard must accumulate two semester hours in piano either prior to or simultaneously with their enrollment in MUS 1310 and MUS 1320.

Students in the Fundamentals of Music (MUS 1300), Materials of Music sequence (MUS 1310,
MUS 1320) must earn a C- or better to progress through the next course level.

In addition, each Music minor must complete the following:
(a) one medium of applied music instruction: 6 sh
(b) ensemble from MUS 1010, MUS 1020, MUS 1030, MUS 1050 and MUS 1051: 4 sh
