Communities of Professional Practice
The College of Arts and Sciences prepares students for careers and advanced studies, including fields such as nonprofit leadership, dentistry, law, medicine, physical therapy and engineering. In addition to the preparation students receive through their academic curriculum, we offer advising programs for those interested in Communities of Professional Practice in health-related fields, law school, and nonprofit leadership. These programs emphasize careful academic advising, targeted coursework, special programs and workshops, and assistance in career development and the graduate school application process. Faculty mentors are available to assist students as they pursue these interests.
