ENG 359 AFRICAN-AMERICAN NOVELS

This study of novels by such writers as Baldwin, Ellison, Hurston, Walker, Wright and Morrison gives attention to gender, place, alienation and changes in forms of protest. This course satisfies the cultural studies requirement for English majors. Satisfies the departmental global/multicultural requirement.
