Both the Bachelor of Arts and the Bachelor of Science degrees in Biology require the following core courses:
Students not placed in MTH 220/STS 212 will need to take MTH 110 prior to taking MTH 220/STS 212.

Students may count up to 4 semester hours of BIO 499
Students may count up to 8 semester hours from special topics Seminars (non-lab BIO courses at the 300-400 level.
Students may count up to 8 semester hours from 200 level BIO elective courses.
Students cannot count both 200-300 level courses of the same topic (Biochemistry, Anatomy, Microbiology) toward elective credits.

A Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Biology: Foundations for Medical Sciences
Students can pursue one of two directions within this concentration: Human or Veterinary Medical Disciplines or Allied Health or Therapy.
The following courses are required:

Allied Health or Therapy disciplines: 8 sh
