GPH 3100 Women's Health
This course is an introduction to issues in women’s health and wellness that will investigate patterns of disease, social and policy implications, and public health interventions and approaches. The course will utilize an equity lens with attention to intersectional identities as it explores health topics such as: reproductive and sexual health, maternal health, mental health, body image, diseases that disproportionately impact women, violence, barriers in the healthcare system, population, climate change and global health issues. This course will consider the experiences of both cisgender and transgender women, and gender expansive peoples assigned female at birth - 4 lecture hours.
