ARTH 3109 Seeing Here Now: Movements in Modernism

Course introduces students to the diversity of "modern" art movements in the 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries in the global context. Modernist and postmodernist movements, including environmental art, photography, video, installation, etc. Options: Language in the Visual Arts (a wide-ranging investigation of text/image relationships in the arts of both western and Asian cultures.)
