NURS 4100 Medical Surgical Nursing III

This course is designed to facilitate the application of prior coursework to the medical-surgical client with high-acuity illness. Learners will incorporate biological, psychosocial, and cultural factors in the planning of and providing care of clients with complex, multi-system health problems, and will apply nursing concepts and skills according to their needs - 2.5 theory hours. Successful completion of both the theory and clinical components of the course with a letter grade of ‘C+’ (2.3) or higher is necessary to pass the course. Prerequisites: Successful completion of NURS/NURL 3100, NURS/NURL 3101 and NURS 3103.
