RNSG 2539. HEALTH CARE CONCEPTS IV (CAPSTONE) (4-4-5) In-depth coverage of advanced health care concepts with nursing application through selected exemplars. Concepts include cognition, immunity, clotting, fluid and electrolyte balance, gas exchange, metabolism, nutrition, perfusion, tissue integrity, and interpersonal relationships. Continuing development of clinical judgment with integration of all health care concepts. The course lends itself to a concept-based approach. Prerequisites: PHIL 2306, RNSG 1137, RNSG 1538 and RNSG 2363. Prerequisites for LVN to RN Transition Students: BIOL 2420, PHIL 2306, RNSG 1137, RNSG 1262 and RNSG 1538. Concurrent: RNSG 2138 and 2360. Assessment Levels: R3, E3, M3. 51.3801
