MUSI 1301. FUNDAMENTALS OF MUSIC - INTRO TO MUSICAL SKILLS (3-0-3) A study of fundamental concepts in music for interested nonmajors and as preparation for music majors with limited music training toward MUSI 1211 and 1216. Topics include the notation of pitch and rhythm, meter, time signatures, scales, key signatures, and intervals. Coursework includes written assignments and correlated exercises at the keyboard.
