Course Description

ITSE 2417. JAVA PROGRAMMING (3-3-4) An introduction to object-oriented Java programming including the fundamental syntax and semantics of Java for applications and Web applets. Topics include methods, tools and techniques for event-driven, non-linear design, graphical user interface (GUI) development and incorporation of Java packages and components into applications and applets. Prerequisites: ITSE 1402 or COSC 1436. Suggested prerequisite: ITSE 2431. Assessment Levels: R1, E1, M1. 11.0201
