Paralegal Studies, Advanced Technical Certificate

To enter the advanced technical certificate program the student must have earned an Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, or baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution of higher learning with a degree other than Paralegal Studies or Paralegal Education.

LGLA 2266 requires the intern to work a minimum of 224 hours during the 16 week semester (approximately three and a half months long).

The student will select a minimum of two LGLA electives for the advanced certificate program.

The program does not qualify a graduate to take a State Bar Exam, represent clients in court, give legal advice or provide independent legal services directly to the public except as permitted by law.
