ENGR 2301. ENGINEERING MECHANICS - STATICS (3-1-3) Basic theory of engineering mechanics, using calculus, involving the description of forces, moments, and couples acting on stationary engineering structures; equilibrium in two and three dimensions; free-body diagrams; friction; centroids; centers of gravity; and moments of inertia. Prerequisite: PHYS 2425 and MATH 2414 (or concurrent enrollment). Assessment Levels: R3, E3, M3. 14.1101

MATH 2414 and PHYS 2425 are prerequisites. Must have level 3 in Reading, English and Math.
