Course Description

Clinical - Advanced concepts of Health A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. Emphasis is on the role of the professional nurse, clinical decision making using the nursing process and advanced medical surgical nursing. This course builds on Level I, II and III skills and concepts of caring, communication, competence, and clinical decision making. Concurrent: RNSG 2331 and 2230. Assessment Levels: R3, E3, M3.
