CGS1060C Basic Computer Concepts and Lab
This course is intended for first time computer users and concentrates on basic computer literacy. Students completing this course will have a concrete understanding of how to use a personal computer, manage computer files, use the Windows operating system and its various tools, send and receive e-mail and utilize the Internet to access information. Furthermore, the student will receive hands on experience with word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and other application programs. The course will be composed of classroom lectures together with hands-on computer exercises.
