Phlebotomy Technician Certificate PT21
This program prepares the student to function as an integral member of the laboratory team. Students are taught skills for collection of blood samples from patients by venipuncture as well as transportation of specimens and quality safety measures. After completion of the program the student is eligible to take a national certification examination from American Medical Technologists (AMT) and upon passing is certified as Registered Phlebotomy Technician (RPT).
Curriculum Outline
All pre-requisite courses and occupational courses must be successfully completed with a grade of C or better.
