ENG 220 British Literature-II

A Survey of major works of British literature from the Romantic period to the present, with emphasis upon understanding and evaluating literary works in their historical and cultural backgrounds. The course also provides a general introduction to prosody, the vocabulary of literary analysis, and the varieties of literary criticism.
