CHE 457 Point-of-care Diagnostics

The course will focus on an introduction to and exploration of the world of point-of-care diagnostics (POCD). POCD offer advantages in terms of portability, real-time feedback, remote applications, and utility in areas with absent or underdeveloped laboratory capabilities. The course will also include lab work to develop a POCD system, directed by student interest.
