BIO 395 Organisms in Extreme Environments

A study of the physiological, behavioral, and morphological adaptations of organisms that live in challenging or extreme environments. Focus will be on the dynamic evolutionary processes that lead to adaptations, which may include: phenotypic plasticity, sexual selection, social behavior, genomic evolution, growth, development, homeostasis, sexual reproduction, body size and shape, armament, and internal organization.
