SOC 300 Sociological Theory
Sociology majors only. Examines the dominant theoretical perspectives in sociology, which includes consideration of the works of Marx, Weber, Durkheim and selected other theorists within their historical context. Discussion of the role of theory in producing sociological explanations. Writing Intensive Course.
