AM4108 History of Medicine
This course is a survey of the history of medicine, including cross-cultural perspectives in healing. Emphasis is placed on the early formative periods of Chinese, Greek, European medicine. The important role of Jewish and Arab/Islamic physicians as well as Indian medicine is also introduced. Attention is placed on issues of cultural diversity in medicine.

Admission into Master of Science in Acupuncture or Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
