PLAN 302 Community Development Studio
In this third-year studio class, students apply urban planning and community development knowledge and techniques, from prior classes in a specific neighborhood, district or otherwise geographically defined community. This course is designed to generate maximum feasible interaction between students and a geographically defined community. Students will produce, collect, analyze and synthesize data and information in order to develop practical, useful and actionable plans. Students will learn to engage ethically and professionally with fellow students, community members, decision makers and community partners.
Prerequisite: PLAN 203.
