Spring Semester 2024 Catalog

Early College Essentials, Technical Certificate of Credit

Overview

Offered at all campuses

Science courses are subject to be offered only on the Augusta campus

Entrance Dates: Fall, Spring, and Summer
Length of Program: One Term or Two Terms
Credit Hours Required for Graduation: 18

Program Description: This Technical Certificate of Credit is designed for a cooperative agreement between technical colleges and four-year colleges/universities in the area. These students have been identified as capable of performing academically at the college level and some are disengaged at the high school and are at risk of dropping out. .

Employment Opportunities: The Early College Essentials TCC provides students a greater opportunity for gaining college credits while completing their high school diploma.  The TCC creates a unique link between secondary and post secondary education, and furthers the effort, embodied by the Complete College America program, to increase the number of high school and college graduates.
