EQS 312 Equine Nutrition
In this course students will develop an understanding of equine nutrition and its application to a variety of horses. Topics include: gastrointestinal physiology, classes of nutrients, concentrates and supplements, forage analysis and pasture management, reading feed tags and ration formulation, diseases and disorders, and feeding management. Prerequisite:
EQS-116 or
VMT-216 and
EQS 225.
