GRN 7102 Advanced Practice Roles in Nursing Practice
This course will examine the advanced practice nursing (APRN) roles. Critical issues that define the APRN’s scope of practice and nurse practitioner competencies and regulation will be explored. Historical, social, political, legal, and economic issues related to advance practice roles will be evaluated. Students will develop skills related to inter-professional collaborative practice, team building, conflict resolution, and leadership.
Prerequisite
Acceptance into the Nurse Practitioner (NP) Program.
