LAW6025 Contracts II
This course assumes the existence of an enforceable agreement and begins by examining contract defenses (such as the statute of frauds, fraud, mistake, illegality, and unconscionability), and techniques of contract interpretation, including the parol evidence rules. This course also explores contract performance issues, excuses for nonperformance, and the distinction between duties and conditions. The course concludes with an overview of contract remedies, including money damages, restitution, and equitable relief. Prerequisite: None
