OMED 9012 Advanced Osteopathy and Anatomy
The Advanced Osteopathy and Anatomy course is a unique opportunity to expand the educational and clinical opportunities for selected students. The course is repeatable and designed to be taken three times (Fall, Spring and Summer) for a full 12-month experience that expands the medical school training period from four to five years by including advanced osteopathic training, clinical experiences, teaching opportunities, advanced anatomy education and instruction, research and publication opportunities.
This course counts for 12 credits.
Prerequisite
Learners must successfully complete all courses in Years 1 and 2 of the DO curriculum and must complete a minimum of 12 weeks of clinical clerkships.
