OMED 6490 Capstone in Medical Sciences

This course represents the integrative summation of the required coursework in the alternate MMS curriculum. Successful completion of the course requires the preparation of a scholarly, literature-based manuscript on a topic of the student's choice and presentation of the topic defended in an oral presentation. Throughout the course, students are required to show progression on the project through submission of outlines and drafts of the student's manuscript under the mentorship of a Capstone Committee comprised of a primary mentor and two additional faculty.

Prerequisite

Enrollment in the Master of Medical Sciences degree program. Successful completion of OMED 5910 and OMED 5820 and OMED 5840 and OMED 5650 and one of the following: OMED 6065 or OMED 6035 or OMED 6045. Each require instructor permission.
