ADED 6390 Practicum in Adult Education
This course offers practical experience in planning and evaluating programs and in teaching adults. It is designed for master's and doctoral students interested in hands-on experience in a variety of institutions and settings where the education of adults is a major function. Included are seminar discussions of ethical leadership and professional issues facing adult education professionals. This may include human resources, staff development, continuing and community education, adult education, adult literacy programs, or higher education contexts. The practicum allows students to demonstrate competency in teaching, program planning, and program evaluation.
