MATH 3331 Foundations of Probability and Statistics

This course is the first semester of undergraduate calculus-based Probability and Statistics. Students will learn to compute probabilities and quantiles, leverage distribution functions, and model the joint behavior of random variables. The course sets the student on the path to understanding popular models such as regression and classification, working as statistician in a research design capacity, or preparing for graduate-level Statistics.
