NURS 3345 Medical-Surgical and Complex Care Nursing I Clinical
This clinical course focuses on the development of clinical judgement, acquisition of nursing skills, and fulfillment of the professional nursing role in acute care clinical settings. This clinical practicum prepares the nursing student to provide health promotion, risk reduction, illness prevention, and disease management for adults with commonly occurring chronic, acute and complex health problems.
Prerequisite
Successful completion of previous level BSN courses for corresponding track is required.
Corequisite
NURS 3545. Concurrent enrollment in or prior successful completion of Medical Surgical and Complex Care Nursing I is required.
