DATA 2365 Introduction to Data Science
This course is designed to give students an introduction to the fundamentals of data science. Students will learn basic database skills, such as querying and regular expressions, and project management technologies, such as version control and GitHub. They will also be exposed to commonly-used statistical languages, such as R and Python. Finally, students will be led through the initial phases of data science projects (data collection, data cleaning, and exploratory data analysis).
